The motor grants airsoft electric guns their fully-automatic and semi-automatic firing abilities. The motor is powered by an external battery source and directly spins the gears in a gearbox that helps cycle an airsoft gun's spring shot after shot. Upgraded motors are manufactured with Neodymium magnets instead of standard issue magnets which can generate more spin or torque for your motor. As you upgrade an airsoft gun, a stronger motor is required to ensure it has enough power to cycle the gearbox fully. Different types of the motor heights exist (short, medium, and high) to keep with the design of different airsoft guns.
