With the modernized edition, the AK47 rifle become black to reduce light reflection. This Airsoft Gun is toughly constructed with a metal barrel assembly, metal receiver cover, and metal trigger assembly. Internally, it comes with a V3 metal gearbox, which shoot hard at 380fps with 0.2g bb. Featuring Full Metal Body both upper and lower receiver, metal were used on barrel, trigger, trigger guard, folding stock.  This AK 104 is mostly made of metal. The pistolgrip, foregrip and magazine only are made of ABS. Folding buttstock allows you to use the gun in CQB with convenience. The battery it comes with isn't amazing buy a 9.6v after you buy the gun. haven't chronoed it yet, but i can tell it shoots pretty dern hard. I shot a kid in the forehead from a few feet away (he denied the safety kill) and he had blood going down his face. ROF with the stock battery is acceptable and is great with the 9.6v. The gun is pot metal but whatever. external quality is like a C. Range is great! Even though you would think this has a short barrel length it is barley shorter than the full stock AK-74. My Only problem with this gun is that the selector switch is loose, so that when i shoot auto, it falls to semi-auto. This was corrected by my friend but then it re-loosend. I bet if i tighten it extra tight though it will probably stay. To tighten the selector, simply pop off the cap of the switch using a flat head screwdriver, then use a philip's head to tighten the switch, then pop the cap back on (it pops back in) Was this review helpful to you?   0 of 1 people found the following review helpful:   battery! October 11, 2008 Reviewer: Mike Grudowski from Wichita, KS United States   What can I say.  This gun is built very well.  nothing shakes or rattles on it.  The only thing I could even think negative at all about it is the stock moves just ever so slight.  If you where not looking for it you would not see it.  As far as fps it is very close to 400.  Took it to my first game today and had to have it krono  the low was 375 and the high was 426 with most coming in around the 390 -396.   This gun shots pretty hot out the box.  I have nothing but great things to say about this gun.  So if you thinking about it stop thinking and buy it.  You can not go wrong with it.  Simply put for the money and free shipping you will not get anything better.
