Great gun w/ minor issues |

For the person below me, you should try to stuff the battery in head first through the wide end and fold the wires right above it. It feels like you are stuffing the gun, but it is the best way to do it. I guess that is the main reason why all the wires are re-enforced.
Anyways, this gun is great. The fps is deadly but a little too fast to be allowed in some places. The gun is heavy and feels like the real thing. The stock sometimes gets stuck when fully extended and you just have to push a little harder. The hop up is a little annoying but basically that's it. This gun is great and you should probably get it. Remember this gun is more for display and shooting purposes.

Hop up tip |

I have the CM049 with the same loose hop-up adjustment. Try a small dab of hot glue to keep the lever in place.
Now if someone could post tips on jamming the battery in!!!
Follow Up:
I had to adjust the bucking on my CM049 and tightened the screw on the hop up lever. It now can be set and it stays put!
Also one your batter wires get shaped the right way and you get used to it - battery loading isn't so bad.

Works real close to the real thing |

About as close to real MP5 as you can get with out paying a fortune for center fire ammo.
As for the hop up, the black 'switch' under the ejection port moves forward or back. It takes some time getting used to it and if you 'hammer' a lot of ammo, the hop up can move on you because of the blow back.
I would have given it 5 stars BUT;
The hi cap mag was broken on arrival, luckily I had ordered 2 50 round mags for skirmishes AND
the fuse connector/holder was broken from the start in the fore grip/battery compartment. I had to do a bit a re-engineering to make it work out of the box!
Overall I am happy with the 'KP5-J' from CYMA.
Also get the $30 fast charger with shut off you won't be disappointed.
