Most of the gun minus the barrel is made out of a strong rubber and it's very comfortable. I've been shot in the neck with it at about 150 feet and I bled! It's best with .20 grams and works with .12 grams with a little less accuracy. Overall, this gun is very durable and hasn't been damaged at all. Looks Great...Feels Great...and Shoots True. But what a hassle to put together. Luckily for youtube i found lots of vids to help me out. The instruction manuel was completely useless. The mag release was ridiculous to put together....not that it was hard...but I had to do some custom work just to keep the mag inside the gun. So just be ready for "some assembly" Other than that annoyance the bi pod is super sturdy....scope is amazing! Gun will require a sling because it is on the heavy side once all attachments are on.
