You are supposed to wind a high capacity magazine until you hear a distinctive clicking sound. Then you should be able to squeeze off at least 20 or so rounds. if you are still dissatisfied, simply buy a mid or low cap magazine, and you can squeeze off 50 or so rounds. But you shouldn't criticize a gun based on magazine problems.

Bought for my son on his birthday, had to turn upside down to shoot, called customer service, very hard to understand and finally got it to work but have to wind, wind, wind after so few shots

this is a great gun the only probelm was the mag i recommed buy an extra one thats not wined up cuz my wined up one brokeand get two battery and if you can afford it a smart charger
