I really reccomend this gun!And with the RIS, you can put almost anything on it!(it says it is $29.50 but there is tax so it's really $40, that's still a good price,if you're going cheap that is...) May 25, 2008 Reviewer: Kevin from MD United States   The Double Eagle M83 M4 was my first AEG. It looks kinda cool, but that's almost all it's good for; looks. At around 30 ft, the BBs start to fly in all different directions. The gun doesn't hurt much either (I can shoot myself in the foot, point-blank and hardly feel it.) It comes with some flashy attachments to it, such as a flashlight, a mock silencer, and a red-crosshair "scope" (it doesn't magnify, it's just another sight.) On top of this, the barrels break easily (My bro's friend screwed the silencer in one turn too far, and it snapped in my barrel). There is also a button on the grip that needs to be pushed before it can be fired, even when the safety is off. However, having said this, it is effective for Close Quarters Combat, and is a good gun to get you into airsoft. Unless you're only trying out airsoft or if you're on a low budget, I would recommend saving up for a better AEG. Was this review helpful to you?
