It lasts a while and is very powerful and great with a box mag. It has a bar 10 rail on the, you may want to get the s system which cost 15 bucks more and it has bar 10 rails in the front in case you want to attach a grenade launcher laser or flashlight and yes a dot scope can be put on this gun Really a great gun no mater what you do. Amazingly powerful!!!
