Spring airsoft guns include a variety of guns including spring-operated pistols or rifles, pump-action shotguns, and bolt-action sniper rifles. The most inexpensive of airsoft guns and the easiest to maintain, spring airsoft guns are comprised of fewer moving parts and requires no additional items to operate. You simply have to engage the spring usually by cocking a part of the gun back and pull the trigger. Spring guns will rarely sport an automatic feature so you will have to cock the gun manually for each pull of the trigger. Most spring pistols and rifles wont fire more than 300 FPS making them ideal for casual play with kids in the backyard and such. While sniper rifles tend to fire in the 400+ FPS range for more competitive airsoft arenas so be sure to make your purchases wisely.
