Hitguns 2012 Gift Guide
Airsoft guns are products that propel usually 6mm plastic with BB's with an heavy emphasis on making accurate replicas of real firearms for simulation purposes. They come in a variety of types based on the power source it uses to propel the BB's with, and based on that will give each type of Airsoft gun unique features and limitations.
There are spring guns that work off the same principle as a sling shot using energy from the tension to propel an object. It this case a spring is coiled up and locked manually. Releasing the tension will cause the coil to spring forward releasing energy to blast the the BB's forward. They are most simple in design and deal with the least moving parts, decresing its chance to fail. They are also the least expensive type of airsoft guns but do not offer any fully automatic or even semi-automatic shooting abilties. Each shot must be cocked by the user itself. Electric Airsoft Guns or AEG's is the staple of airsoft and are essentially a spring gun that is rapdily cocked by a complex system of gears that are spun by a motor and powered by a battery. Its compliexity offers the most amount of features allowing for fully and semi-automatic fire. Thier compliexity however makes them prone to breakage whether mechnaically or elecrtrically. This often comes from the quality of its make and construction making a difference between one that will break sooner or later. The last type of airsoft guns are gas guns that use pressurized gas such as green gas, propane or CO2 to propel BB's. They are not complex as AEG's but not as simple as spring guns. Thier operation is essentially a cockable hammer that taps a gas valve to allow a burst of pressurized gas to propel a BB. This semi-complex amount of parts allow for semi-automatic fire and sometimes even fully automatic fire. However because of the nature of presssurized gasses like propane or green gas, thier performance may not be consistent and can run into issues if a single leak from a bad seal.

All of us at HitGuns.com appreciate your business. We are working hard to make sure that your holiday order arrives on time.

Here are a few tips to help ease the stress of online holiday shopping.

Order early! The sooner you place your order, the more time you have to allow for the shipment to arrive. Inventory stock status changes rapidly during the busy holiday season so you should allow time for possible back orders or product shortages.

Watch for your package! During the holiday season we see a sharp increase in theft of packages after delivery. Due to the volume of packages we send, we are not able to require a signature for the package unless you specifically request it. It is best to have your package sent to work, a trusted neighbor, or any address where someone will be present at the time of delivery. Shipping insurance (nor our company) cover theft after the point of delivery.

Inspect for damage! During the busy holiday period the likelihood of shipping damage increases because of the massive volume carried by shipping companies. Please make a quick inspection of your package and check for damage when it arrives. Notify us right away if you see any damage so we can get you fixed up.

Guarantees are provided by Fedex. We are not responsible if any delay occurred by the carrier. USPS Shipping is not guaranteed to delivery before the holiday.
