The AK-74u is the compact member of the AK-74 family designed to be the succuesssor of the legendary AK-47 rifles. Just like before JG has revitalized their AK series to bring you another realistic and durable incarnation. Their new AK74U models feature an electronic blow-back unit that jolts the faux bolt cover back and forth to simulate the bolt moving back and forth as if it were loads and ejecting rounds like a real AK bringing a new realm of realism to the Airsoft world. As all AK's that came before it , it featuring an all metal construction which includes metal skeleton stock, receiver, receiver cover, cover retainer button, trigger, trigger guard, magazine release, magazine, bolt and charging handle, mock gas piston, fire selector lever, rear sight, gas tube release lever, hand guard retainers, front sight block, and its threaded outer barrel. The rear sight is adjustable and hop-up adjustment can still be performed by simply pulling back on the bolt cover. An added feature on the 74 is a pre-installed side rail mount for scopes and red dot attachments.
Housed within is a enhanced Version 3 full metal gearboxes that now shoots 400-450 FPS, one of the hardest shooting guns available on the market. It is a work horse of a design that includes high durability gears, a high torque motor, and a M120 spring running the show. All coming to you in a compact CQB length design to take the battle into urban spaces unhindered. Finished with real wood furniture on the hand-guards and a tactical metal side-folding stock to reduce its length and weight, while providing the support of what a full stock could, this gun is a masterpiece in power, performance, looks, and realism.
