Attached to that rail is the ELGM (Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module). It is a futuristic new weapon system designed as both a stand alone weapon and an attachment module for specific rifle models. The trigger system is designed of metal parts encased in a tough nylon fiber shell for the utmost durability. Each model features a unique serial number engraved onto the body. The most unique and innovative feature of the ELGM is perhaps its rotating locking breech system that swings the barrel 15 degrees left or right to improve shell loading time with a simple slide. Unlike the M203 launcher it does not need to be pumped to be primed and can is armed as soon as the grenade shell is loaded and the loading breech locked. The trigger module features a safety mechanism that can be turned on and off with a quick press. It can be attached and detached from Rail Accessory Systems (RAS) via a quick throw level whole the trigger module includes a magwell to accommodate the presence of an magazine.
