As part of their company heritage all G&G gearboxes are made with one of the highest precision and quality an airsoft company has to offer. Here G&G presents its L85 Series modeled after standard issue weapon of the British Armed Forces. The hand guards, pistol grip, and cheek rest are molded in its signature Olive Drab (OD) color and made out of a tough polymer while the rest of the gun from the barrel tip down to the body to the back rear of the stock is compromised of full metal that is true to form for the L96. Thanks to gun's bullup design that pushes the magazine to load behind the trigger, the 27" long gun has an extended barrel length that stretches over 2/3 of the gun's body with an impressiveness 19" inner barrel  giving you the extra boost of range and accuracy. Flip-up iron sights can be found in the front and handle bar and sling points can be found in the front and stock of the gun. Included is a 450 round high-capacity magazine. 

As found on all models of the L85 series, all its guns include a Pneumatic Blow-Back system to go along with its already reliable and balanced design, shooting in the 350 FPS range - the maximum allowed FPS for many close quartered combat scenarios in many airsoft arenas. The revolutionary and patented blow-back system  uses leftover compression of each shot to power a gun's bolt to pull back and forth simulating the cycling action of real steel guns providing a realistic, and satisfying, touch to your guns. Traditionally this feature was expensive and if not done correctly detrimental. Mainly because it encompasses jury-rigging the bolt assembly to the internal gearbox's which was difficult to install and remove, while putting strain on the gun's crucial parts.

Note this gun does not come with a battery and charger, however investing in a stronger 8.4V or 9.6V battery and a smart charger is always a recommendation - oppose to using lesser batteries and chargers that other airsoft guns often come with. This gun was designed for the player who wants to take a serious step into airsoft without the unnecessary high cost of admission.
